I have a long-standing generational history on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Delaware. My family has owned thousands of acres of land and still owns some beautiful properties today. We have enjoyed them for their recreational value, whether quality-managing them for hunting, growing row crops, harvesting timber, placing conservation easements, raising horses and livestock, or carving out family homesites. I grew up experiencing it and being a part of it myself. I took that knowledge and applied it to my career as a land specialist, and my success has been proven in the industry with over 50,000 acres of land sold in the past 25+ years. I have developed a network of resources and contacts over those years, and my educational background, a master's degree in business and marketing combined with a dedicated marketing staff, lets me stay a technological leader and marketer in this industry.
The way in which we market has changed significantly, and so have the tools we use. I was the first in the area to use helicopters and small planes to take aerial shots of properties for sale. Now we have advanced to drone footage and video, property-specific websites, target marketing through social media, syndication to more than 500 websites, and advanced networking on CRM platforms. I have evolved into a marketing media group, and with those advancements comes increased marketing cost, but I have maintained the highest spend per property of any agent in the area because I know how much it matters.
