Your Eastern Shore Land Specialist.
Jay grew up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and Lower Delaware, spending his summers in West Ocean City by the water and the rest of the year on the farm. His paternal family were established farmers—owning much of the land east of Berlin, Maryland, and several farms in Sussex County. In addition, his family owned extensive tracts of land and lodges on Assateague Island, where he spent many of his formative years.
From an early age, Jay learned about land management from his grandfather—exploring topics like soil types, drainage, topography, and optimal land use. His family’s long history in hospitality, including operating hotels in Ocean City (with properties such as The Nassau Motel, now The Meridian), further enriched his understanding of real estate and property management.

Real estate is in Jay’s blood. With both his parents active as agents and investors, he was naturally drawn to the industry. After earning a degree in International Marketing and Finance from Salisbury University’s Perdue Business School, Jay entered the world of real estate.
He married his high school sweetheart and has since dedicated 18 years to parenthood. His love for fishing, hunting, horses, traveling, and the great outdoors underscores his deep-rooted connection to the Eastern Shore—a place he can’t imagine leaving.

Jay has been selling land and farms on the Eastern Shore of Maryland and the Lower Shore of Delaware for over 24 years. With more than 50,000 acres sold and total sales exceeding $500 million, he has earned the reputation of the “Land Man” among colleagues, appraisers, and clients alike.
His extensive background in areas such as land use, commercial properties, developments, construction, zoning, permitting, farming, acquisitions, easements, conservation programs, wildlife management, and habitat improvements makes him a leader in the industry. Supported by a technologically advanced marketing team, Jay takes pride in helping clients build their dreams or successfully sell their property.
